We started our home make-over with the kitchen... there are plenty of rooms in this house that need some TLC, but the kitchen was at the top of my list. It's located at the back of the house, where it's completely shaded by trees. The dark cabinets weren't doing it any favors and it was so dreary and dark.
We had a pretty simple to do list... to start. ;)
Original DIY list:
Paint cabinets white
New curtains over sink
Art for walls
And the more blogs I looked at, the bigger my list got (probably to my husband's dismay).

Rugs for floors
New stove
New refrigerator
New counter tops
Annnnd then I added a new dishwasher to the list too. Oops! (Sorry, Joey)
We randomly decided to pop over to Home Depot and grabbed some primer to get started.
And when we decide to get into something, we jump in head first apparently!
